do not change the colors (except the eye colors not on the last row thou)
if you change the gender you and shorten the hair
if you do not have paint tool sai or gimp you do not need to have the gradients in the hair
you can change the species
the only reason i make my adoptables girls in because i just find it easier to do mare manes rather than colt manes
